We understand the importance of disinfecting frequently touched surfaces to minimize the risk of virus transmission. Here is a guide on how to clean and sanitize your Okamura chair.
We recommend using two types of liquid disinfectants on our products:
- Alcohol-based disinfectants (containing ethanol at a concentration of 70 to 95%)
- Sodium hypochlorite (bleach at a concentration of 0.05%)
6 Crucial Points for Cleaning Your Chair
- Use a moistened clean fabric, paper towel, etc., with the liquid disinfectant to wipe target surfaces. Avoid spraying.
- Immediately after disinfecting, wipe the area with a damp cloth or paper towel to ensure no residue remains, and then wipe dry.
- Avoid leaving liquid disinfectant residue on the surface, as it could lead to discoloration and deterioration.
- Exercise caution with the amount of liquid disinfectant used, as excessive amounts may damage core materials.
- Avoid unnecessary and excessive disinfection, as it may result in discoloration, deformation, or accelerated stiffness.
- Adhere to the specified procedure and amount for the particular disinfectant. Allowing disinfectant to contact electrical sockets could pose a fire hazard.
